Recipe FAQs and Notes
Can you use canned fish for this recipe?
You can but I think that cooking the mahi-mahi up and smoking it just adds so much more flavor.
How do you store leftover mahi mahi dip?
If you’re lucky enough to have any leftovers, you need to store them in the fridge until you’re ready to eat them again. Have it in a container with a lid for freshness.
What else can you use to dip into this easy appetizer?
Crackers are always a good choice. Triscuit crackers are another one of my favorites as is lightly toasted bread.
