To me, the Pacific Northwest seems like such a magical place. The lush green color, clear blue lakes, mountains, waterfalls, rivers and streams, it’s a Wanderlust heaven. For several years I have wanted to travel to the Pacific Northwest and decided this year would be the year! I turned 40 this year, last month in fact, and the only gift I wanted was to treat my husband and I to a trip to Oregon to kick off this new decade.
If you follow me on Pinterest, I’ve been pinning like a madwoman to my Wanderlust board. Through these pins I’ve been planning out hikes and dreamy coastal day trips. I’ve pinned gluten-free and organic friendly restaurants to try out in the area. (Okay, so maybe VooDoo doughnuts isn’t on that list, but it is a MUST!) This trip is a Wanderlust dream come true and I cannot wait until we board the plane to head off to paradise.

Tunnel Falls (although it sounds like part of the trail may be shut down right now)
Portland – A Foodies paradise!
And last, but not least, Cannon Beach, where we’ll be able to soak up the beauty of Haystack Rock and Neptune’s Secret Garden. If Haystack Rock looks familiar, that’s because it’s the beach that was in The Goonies!!
