Ham and Cheese Tea Sandwiches

These delicious Ham and Cheese Tea Sandwiches are perfect for a quick and tasty snack, a light lunch, or even as part of an elegant high tea spread.

• white bread loaf • sliced ham • sliced swiss cheese • dijon mustard • mayonnaise


Using a 3” circle cookie or biscuit cutter, cut out 30 circles from the bread. Set aside.

Continue by then cutting out 20 circles of ham, and 20 circles of swiss cheese. Begin assembling the tea sandwiches.

Start with one bread circle on the bottom, then top with a circle of ham and cheese. Add mustard to the top of the cheese, then top with another circle of bread.

Add another circle of ham, followed by a circle of cheese. Add mayonnaise to the top of the cheese.

Finally, top with a 3rd and final circle of bread. Then garnish with a cornichon using an appetizer skewer. Continue this process until you have 10 tea sandwiches.
