 BANANA SPLIT BITES

Here’s a Paleo-friendly summer treat that mimics the fruity freshness of a banana split minus the nuts and ice cream. The kids will love this!

The key to this treat is to align the fruit so there is a nice even bottom to dip into the chocolate.

– banana – pineapple (cored) – strawberries – semi-sweet mini chocolate chips – popsicle sticks

INGREDIENTS NEEDED

HOW DO YOU MAKE NUT-FREE BANANA SPLIT BITES?

1. Core fresh pineapple and cut into square chunks. 2. Slice the tops off strawberries, then slice in half. 3. Slice banana into 1/2 to 1 inch chunks.

4. Slide one piece of each fruit onto a popsicle stick so that you have a flat bottom. 5. Place fruit into refrigerator to chill while you melt the chocolate.

6. Place chocolate into a long, shallow dish and melt in the microwave, about 1 minute. 7. Dip the bottom half of the fruit arrangement into chocolate and place onto parchment paper.
