This blackberry summer salad is the perfect mix for a hot summer’s day. I used to think people were strange when they ordered salads with fruit on them.
– greens of your choice – nitrate free bacon – feta cheese crumbles – balsamic vinaigrette – raw honey – olive oil – blackberries
1. For the salad portion of this recipe, chop up as many greens as you prefer. Cook bacon, 2 slices per serving.
2. Combine dressing ingredients (balsamic vinaigrette, raw honey, and olive oil). Whisk together (the oil will never fully combine with the vinaigrette).
3. Crumble bacon and feta over greens, add blackberries and then drizzle on dressing (2 tbsp. per serving).
