Grilled Coffee Rubbed Burger with Bacon & Horseradish Sauce

It’s time to take your burger game to the next level with these grilled coffee rubbed burgers. Inspired by my coffee rub prime rib and coffee crusted steak bites, I’m bringing the flavor of a charred coffee crust to summertime grill season! The fresh horseradish sauce compliments the coffee crust perfectly, then top with bacon and your favorite burger toppings and you’ll have a delicious burger!

Recipe FAQ

How long do I grill burgers on a gas grill?

Heat gas grill on medium to medium-high for five minutes prior to adding burgers to the grill. Grill burgers for 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and grill for another 4-5 minutes or until burgers reach 145 degrees F. for medium or up to 160 degrees F. for well done.

What is the best beef for burgers?

Your Certified Angus Beef® Brand ground beef choices will most likely be ground chuck, ground round, and ground sirloin. Ground chuck is the preferred burger meat because it has the most fat and is usually the most flavorful. Ground round is the leanest, and ground sirloin would be in the middle. I recommend ground chuck or sirloin for your grilled coffee rubbed burgers.

Can I use creamy horseradish instead of prepared horseradish?

No, for this recipe you’ll need to purchase prepared horseradish.
