- super quick and easy to make. The entire dish can be ready in less than 30 minutes
- perfect for when you have guests over. Incase you didn’t know, Shrimp Dijon gets better the longer (not so long though) it stays, this means you can make it ahead and marinade it in the fridge overnight or earlier the same day you plan to serve it
- quite heavy and can also be served as a main dish (accompanied with salad, pasta, etc).
- tasty. It has a timeless appeal and it’s so delicious you could almost catch your guest senaking off with plates of this shrimp dijon appetizer
I also love how the flavor combination of Dijon mustard, garlic, lemon zest, and parsley adds so much depth to this recipe.

HOW LONG DOES SHRIMP DIJON APPETIZER STORE?
Shrimp, whether cooked or uncooked doesn’t keep very well. While I can almost guarantee you won’t have any leftovers (or at least not much), this recipe isn’t one you’d want to keep for an entire week.
However, it will keep up to two days if stored properly in a refrigerator. You can also store them in the freezer to further increase their shelf life.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SHRIMP DIJON & SHRIMP SCAMPI?
Shrimp scampi means different things to different people. But it is an Italian shrimp dish that calls for shrimp cooked and smothered in butter, garlic, and wine sauce that for most people is never complete if not served with pasta.
