Ingredients Needed
- Crushed ice
- 1 ½ oz. cherry vodka
- 1 Tbsp. simple syrup
- 3 ½ oz. lemon-lime sparkling water
- ½ oz. grenadine
- Maraschino cherries for garnish
How to make Cherry Vodka Cocktail
- Fill a lowball glass with crushed ice.
- Add in the vodka and simple syrup and stir. Then, fill the glass with the sparkling water.
- Top off the glass with the grenadine, garnish with 1-2 cherries and serve.

Can you use fresh cherries for this recipe?
If you want, you can. I like the maraschino cherries because they’re sweetened with a bit of sugar and syrup and that adds sweetness to this cocktail.
Can you make this cocktail with other types of alcohol?
I would think that rum would also taste very good with this cocktail, too! If you want to try a different alcohol with this recipe, do so!
Can you serve this recipe without ice?
I wouldn’t! This cherry cocktail recipe is meant to be served chilled. Crushed ice makes that happen quickly and keeps the drink nice and cool.
