The hot summer days have me craving something light and refreshing. And since the doctor says that we all need more water, why not pair up some sparkling water with a bit of malibu rum and fresh fruit, too?
All you have to do is fill up your glass and you’ll be well on your way to it being 5 o’clock wherever you might be!
Ingredients Needed
- 1.5 oz Malibu Rum
- 1.5 oz. orange juice
- Crushed ice
- Coconut La Croix
- Fresh pineapple wedge
How to make Coconut La Croix Cocktail
- In a lowball glass, add the Malibu Rum and orange juice.
- Fill the glass with crushed ice.
- Then pour in the Coconut La Croix until full.
Give it a quick stir and enjoy! Garnish with a wedge of fresh pineapple, if preferred.

Can you make this recipe with other fresh fruit?
You can. Anything that you’d think would go well with coconut is worth a go! I think that strawberries would be a great idea to try!
Does this have to be served over ice?
This drink is best served cold so I highly recommend serving it over ice. I like crushed ice for a texture thing, but you can easily serve it over anything that you’d like.
What can be used instead of orange juice?
You can try and use other types of juice as well. Lemonade might be a great option, too. Combined with the burst of the La Croix flavor, it should pair up perfectly with just about anything.
