Recipe FAQs and Notes
What are crostini?
Crostini are sliced and toasted bread, usually small and round and made from a white bread baguette.
Are crostini served hot or cold?
Crostini can be served toasted and hot, or sliced cold.
How do you soften hard crostini?
When serving crostini to your guests, it’s important to make sure they’re not too hard. If they’re too hard, they’ll flake all over them as they try to eat them. The key is to lightly toast them, keeping the center soft.

- To sweeten the ricotta, whip the honey into the ricotta before spreading onto the crostini.
