You’ll need a large charcuterie board to build out this epic spread, a 24-inch or 36-inch board would work great. If you don’t have a board that size, you can create an epic spread with several smaller boards across your kitchen/dining table.
Also, look for fun football-themed snack containers for the popcorn and Chex Mix, like these –
- For this board, we’ll start from the middle and build out.
- If you’re cooking your own wings, you’ll want to prep those here. If you’re ordering wings from a local restaurant, skip to the next step.
- Once the wings are ready, bake the pretzel bites according to package directions.
- Start assembling your board – if you have a bowl(s) for the Chex Mix and M&Ms, place that in the middle.
- Then, cut off the tops of the yellow and red pepper and then scrape out the inside. You’ll use these for the ranch and blue cheese. Fill those and place them near the middle.
- From there, start placing the wings around the board, working clockwise, fanning the wings out from the center to the edge of the board. Alternate wings and vegetables, saving a spot for the pretzel bites and caramel popcorn.
- Add the cheese dip to a small bowl and place it onto the board, surrounding the bowl with the pretzel bites.
- Add a bowl for the caramel popcorn and fill, then surround the board with additional popcorn.
- Take time to rearrange if needed, remember, there’s no right or wrong way to creating your game day charcuterie board!

How to prep a game day charcuterie board ahead of time
Prepping the vegetables ahead of time for any charcuterie board is a huge time saver.
- Prepare the “dressing” peppers the night before and refrigerate in a sealed baggie.
- Cut the celery and carrots the night before and refrigerate in a sealed baggie. Tip – to prevent the carrots from turning white and drying out, put a little bit of water in the baggie.
