Earl Grey Simple Syrup:
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 Earl Grey tea bags
London Fog Cocktail:
- 1 oz. gin
- 1 oz. Earl Grey simple syrup
- ½ lemon – juiced
- 1 egg white
How to Make a London Fog Cocktail
- Make the Earl Grey simple syrup. Add 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar to a saucepan and heat over medium heat, constantly whisking, until sugar dissolves.
- Remove from heat, add 4 Earl Grey tea bags, cover, and let steep for 20 minutes. Remove the tea bags and let it cool completely.
- Add the gin, Earl Grey simple syrup, lemon juice, and egg white to a cocktail shaker to prepare the cocktail. Add ice and shake.
- Strain into a cocktail glass and serve immediately.
