Roasted Chili Aioli
I love making variations of aioli recipes – from sweet to savory – aioli makes the perfect sauce for just about any recipe. Maybe it’s because I come from a family of sauce lovers – Ha! – I’m not sure, but I do love a good dipping sauce. Aioli is rich and creamy, and you can easily mix up the flavor profile. This roasted chili aioli is the perfect dipping sauce for my air fryer roasted chili chicken wings!

Technically, no. They are both emulsions, however; true aioli must contain olive oil and garlic whereas mayo can use different types of oils.
Aioli is commonly served as a dipping sauce for meat, seafood, potatoes, or vegetables.
Yes, you can make aioli with a mayo base, or you can create your own by emulsifying an egg yolk and olive oil with a blender.
It depends on the specific recipe. Mayo based aioli can be made with a dairy-free mayo, giving you a dairy-free aioli option.
