Ingredients Needed
- 6 oz cream cheese – softened
- 6 oz. lump crab meat
- ¼ cup diced green onion – white and green parts
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 ½ tsp. Prepared horseradish
- ½ lemon -juiced
- 1 tsp. Old Bay seasoning
- ¼ tsp. Salt
- ¼ tsp. Cracked black pepper
- 2 sheets of puff pastry dough
- 1 egg
How to Make a Crab Puff Pastry
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- In a large mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese, crab meat, green onion, Worcestershire, horseradish, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt and pepper – stir to combine.
- Remove the puff pastry sheets from the refrigerator. Unfold one sheet of puff pastry onto a sheet of parchment paper, then cut it into 12 squares. Repeat with the second puff pastry sheet. Transfer the parchment paper to a baking sheet. You may need to use two baking sheets.
- Drop about 1 Tbsp. of the crab mixture onto the center of each square.
- Whisk one egg for an egg wash, then brush onto all four sides of the puff pastry.
- Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve warm.
