Recipe FAQs and Notes
What type of apples work best in this sangria recipe?
I use both red and green but you can mix it up. Green tends to be a bit sourer so keep that in mind!
Is this sangria recipe supposed to be served cold?
You bet. This is a drink recipe to drink over ice so that it’s nice and chilled.
Is sangria a sweet drink?
It should have a hint of sweetness but not be overly sweet. The natural sweetness from the fruits helps it to have a lesser sweet taste than if you were adding sugar.
