Recipe FAQs and Notes
Can you change up the type of cheese?
Absolutely. Just make sure that you’re using a cheese that is easy to melt. It needs to melt smoothly and creamy and not be stringy.
What other topping can you add to mac and cheese?
I really like the panko crumbs but you can add French onion strings or even some bacon bits on top as well. Anything to give that crunch!
WHat is the best way to reheat macaroni and cheese?
Low and slow is always best. I usually pour just a tad bit of milk or add some butter in when I’m reheating as well so that it adds some moisture to pair with the heat.
