Recipe FAQs and Notes
What apples work best for this sangria recipe?
It’s really up to you! You can add sweet apples or use Granny Smith instead or do what I do and have a mixture of both. I tend to use whatever apples I have in my house as any apples take on the flavor quite well.
Can you use frozen cranberries in sangria?
Fresh cranberries are best because the frozen cranberries will release liquid and just might water your drink down!
Is sangria served chilled?
Yes. For the best flavor, chill your sangria so that it’s nice and cool to drink. This is the best way to enjoy sangria.
