Recipe FAQs and Variations
Do air fryers cook faster?
Air fryers heat more rapidly than traditional ovens so there’s no waiting on time for pre-heating. Air fryers also tend to cook about three to five times faster than a conventional oven.
Can you cook frozen steak in the air fryer?
I have not tested cooking a frozen steak. However, I would assume you could, but the result would be tough and you would need to increase the overall cooking time. I would suggest thawing the steak first before cooking.
Recipe Variations
- Omit the rosemary, if preferred.
- Use any steak seasoning
- If your ribeye steaks are thin, decrease the cooking time to 6-8 minutes.
