Recipe FAQs and Notes
Can I use something besides panko crumbs?
I wouldn’t. The panko crumbs are the perfect way to get a crispy outer crust easily. If you’re craving something with a crunch, use panko bread crumbs.
How do you reheat fish bites?
Low and slow in the oven are a great choice if you want them to reheat crispy. You can also reheat in the air fryer, too. Using a microwave will not result in a crispy Mahi Mahi bite, so I would avoid that.
Can you do this with other types of fish?
Yes, you can swap in any other flaky white fish such as cod or tilapia.
