Ingredients needed
- 8 oz. uncooked spaghetti
- 1 tsp. salt – divided
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese – divided
- 1 1/2 tsp. Italian Seasoning – divided
- 13 oz. pizza sauce
- 3 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 3 oz. sliced pepperoni
How to make baked spaghetti
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- In a large pot, boil the spaghetti noodles, adding 1/2 tsp. salt to the water. Remove and drain when al dente.
- Add the cooked spaghetti noodles to a large bowl. Then, add the eggs, milk, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, 1/4 tsp. garlic powder, 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, and 1 tsp. Italian seasoning to the bowl with the noodles and mix to combine.
- Grease a 9×13 baking dish and pour the spaghetti mixture into the greased dish.
- Pour the pizza sauce over the noodles and spread to completely cover.
- Top with the sliced pepperoni, covering the entire surface area.
- Top with the shredded Mozzarella cheese, covering the entire surface area.
- Finally, sprinkle the top with the remaining 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese and 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, checking at the 20-minute mark. If you want the top to be crispy, as seen in the photos, you’ll probably cook for the full 25 minutes. If you want less crisp, check at 20 minutes.
- Remove from oven, let sit for 5 minutes, then serve.

Yes! You’ll want to freeze any leftover baked spaghetti in an air tight container, or cover tightly with multiple layers of foil, for up to 1 month. To reheat, remove from freezer and let thaw. Then bake at 375 degrees F. for 10 minutes or until warm.
Can spaghetti be made ahead of time?
Yes! You can make the spaghetti ahead of time and store in an air tight container in the refrigerator. When ready to assemble the pizza baked spaghetti casserole, simply pick up at step #3 in the recipe.
