Who doesn’t love soft pretzels?! This soft pretzel snack board is the perfect grazing board. The key to this board is in the dipping sauces! Wow your guests with hot soft pretzels and spicy dips that will keep them coming back for more!

Ingredients needed

Below are suggestions for dip options, but feel free to use what you like!

  • 8-10 large soft pretzels
  • 1 12 oz. box of soft pretzel bites
  • 3 Tbsp. unsalted butter
  • Spicy brown mustard
  • Guinness Beer cheese dip
  • 2 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. milk

How to make a soft pretzel snack board

  1. Cook the pretzels and pretzel bites according to package directions. While they’re baking, melt the butter.
  2. In a bowl, combine the cinnamon and sugar and stir to combine.
  3. Remove the pretzels and bites from the oven and brush on the melted butter.
  4. Salt the large pretzels with the salt provided in the box.
  5. Divide the pretzel bites into two groups, salt half and roll the other half in the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
  6. In a small mixing bowl, combine the powdered sugar and milk to create a dipping glaze.
  7. Begin assembling the board – place the sauce bowls onto the board. Then, place the sweet pretzel bites in one corner of the board, and the salted pretzel bites in the opposite corner.
  8. Fill in around the bowls and bites with the large pretzels.
  9. Lastly, add the sauces to the small bowls – mustard, beer cheese dip, and sweet glaze, and serve.

Recipe FAQs

Will any store-bought soft pretzels work?

Yes, any brand of soft pretzels will work. Our favorite are Auntie Anne’s soft pretzels.

Can I use any dipping sauces?

Yes! Feel free to use whatever dipping sauces you like best. I would suggest a mild/creamy sauce (like a cheese dip), a mustard dip, and a sweet dip for the cinnamon sugar bites.

How big should a charcuterie board be?

For this board, it will serve 4-6 people and would require a medium to large board.

  • 2 people boards – use a small rectangle board (8×10) or round board (8-10 inch)
  • 4-6 people boards – use a medium to large rectangle board (11×14) or 12-14 in. round board
  • For large groups – use a large rectangle or round board (20+ inches) or use multiple boards
