This La Croix Piña Colada is your new summertime cocktail! Sweet, creamy, and all the best piña colada flavors! Add this to your collection of La Croix Cocktails!
There’s something about summertime and sitting poolside or beachfront that makes me crave a creamy piña colada! This recipe is chock-full of delicious pineapple and coconut flavors.
Ingredients needed
- 12 oz. La Croix Coconut flavor
- 6-12 oz. pineapple juice
- 3-4 oz. white rum
- 15 oz. cream of coconut – I recommend the Coco López brand for this cocktail
- 1 cup fresh pineapple
- 3-4 cups crushed ice
How to make a La Croix Piña Colada
- In a large blender, combine all ingredients. I recommend starting with 6 oz. of pineapple juice and 3 oz. of white rum first. (make sure you’re blender can hold this much liquid)
- Blend on high until fully blended.
- Taste test and add additional rum and pineapple juice as preferred. Serve immediately
- Keep any leftovers in the freezer for up to one day.
Recipe FAQs and Notes
Is coconut cream the same as Coco López?
No, it is not. Coco López does have ‘cream of coconut’ on its label. However, it is not the same as coconut cream. The Coco López has been sweetened, which makes it great for a piña colada.
Is this La Croix cocktail low in sugar?
Unlike many of my other La Croix cocktails, this particular recipe is not low in sugar. The Coco López is fairly high in sugar, and the pineapple juice also contains sugar. See my notes below for some low sugar options.
Can I make this a mocktail?
Of course! Simply omit the rum and you’ll still have all the delicious flavors of a fresh piña colada!
Recipe Notes:
- For a lower sugar option, try the following:
- Omit or reduce the Coco López amount by half.
- Omit the pineapple juice and only use fresh pineapple or use an organic pineapple juice that’s lower in sugar content.
- Or, try the following:
- 12 oz. La Croix Coconut flavor
- 3-4 oz. white rum
- 1 cup fresh pineapple
- 3-4 cups crushed ice
