Easy Lemon Dill Mahi Mahi
You know how much I love Mahi Mahi because of its mild flavor and easy cooking requirements. Mahi Mahi fillets cook quickly while holding their shape and texture, plus it’s an easy go-to for a gluten-free dinner option! You can easily bake Mahi, like with my Oven Baked Mahi Mahi, or you can grill Mahi, like with my Honey Lime Mahi Mahi. But, we’re going to make cooking Mahi for dinner even easier in this recipe by using your air fryer.
Ingredients needed for lemon dill Mahi Mahi
- 2 fresh or thawed wild-caught Mahi Mahi fillets
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. fresh dill – chopped
- 2-3 fresh lemon slices
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. cracked black pepper
How to make air fryer lemon dill Mahi Mahi
- In a small bowl, combine the lemon juice and olive oil. Stir to combine.
- Lay the fresh or thawed Mahi Mahi fillets onto a sheet of parchment paper. Brush both sides of each fillet with the lemon juice mixture – coating heavily.
- Season with salt and pepper. Then, top with the chopped fresh dill. Lay the lemon slices on top of the fillets.
- Place Mahi Mahi fillets into the air fryer basket and cook for 12-14 minutes at 400 degrees F.
- Remove from basket and serve immediately.

I have an AirFryer Pro (with the racks). can I cook this directly on the rack or should I put foil under it?
I’ve never used this style of air fryer, however I wouldn’t think you would need to put foil under it.

Never a stupid question! No, you do not need to place the parchment paper into the air fryer. Just be sure to spray the basket with cooking oil beforehand to ensure it doesn’t stick.
