You can’t beat a classic margarita – perfect for almost any occasion from game day to poolside. This La Croix cocktail is also a great party drink; your guests will be shocked at how great it tastes without all the heavy sweetener!
Ingredients Needed
This single-serve recipe is made for a 14 oz. highball glass. For large serving options, see the notes in the recipe card below.
- coarse sea salt
- 1/2 fresh lime, cut into quarters
- 1.5 oz. silver tequila
- 1 tsp. agave nectar
- crushed ice
- 8 oz. La Croix Limoncello – chilled
How to make a skinny margarita
- Place the coarse sea salt onto a small plate or saucer. Wet the tall highball glass’s rim and press into the salt, salting the rim of the glass.
- Next, add the two pieces of fresh lime and muddle, squeezing out all of the juice.
- Then, add in the tequila and agave nectar. Fill the glass with crushed ice about 3/4 of the way full.
- Finally, fill the glass with the La Croix Limoncello.
- Using a long bar or teaspoon, thoroughly mix the drink so that all ingredients combine well.
- Add more ice if needed, then serve immediately.
