a glass of a La Croix Skinny Margarita

You can’t beat a classic margarita – perfect for almost any occasion from game day to poolside. This La Croix cocktail is also a great party drink; your guests will be shocked at how great it tastes without all the heavy sweetener!

Ingredients Needed

This single-serve recipe is made for a 14 oz. highball glass. For large serving options, see the notes in the recipe card below.

  • coarse sea salt
  • 1/2 fresh lime, cut into quarters
  • 1.5 oz. silver tequila
  • 1 tsp. agave nectar
  • crushed ice
  • 8 oz. La Croix Limoncello – chilled

How to make a skinny margarita

  1. Place the coarse sea salt onto a small plate or saucer. Wet the tall highball glass’s rim and press into the salt, salting the rim of the glass.
  2. Next, add the two pieces of fresh lime and muddle, squeezing out all of the juice.
  3. Then, add in the tequila and agave nectar. Fill the glass with crushed ice about 3/4 of the way full.
  4. Finally, fill the glass with the La Croix Limoncello.
  5. Using a long bar or teaspoon, thoroughly mix the drink so that all ingredients combine well.
  6. Add more ice if needed, then serve immediately.
