Recipe FAQs and Notes
Do you have to peel the apples for this drink recipe?
You don’t! Leaving the peel on helps them keep their shape without disintegrating too much.
Is this cocktail meant to be served chilled?
While it doesn’t have to be chilled, but allowing it to chill will give the fruit time to soak up some of the alcohol content and let the flavors meld together. Once I add all the ingredients together, I keep it stored in the fridge until we’re ready to drink it.
Does the fruit hold the alcohol in this drink recipe?
Absolutely. The fruit will have a very strong alcohol flavoring as the fruit pieces soak up the alcohol in this drink.
